What the estimate is
When you set a budget, the campaign builder shows an estimate for that budget and those targeting settings. It is built from what campaigns with similar settings have done in the past.
It is an estimate, not a promise. Your campaign can land above it or below it.
Why it cannot be exact
Sprizzy buys your views through the Google Ads auction, and the auction price changes constantly. The main things that move it are:
- Where you target. Reaching viewers in high demand countries costs more than reaching viewers elsewhere.
- How narrow your targeting is. Very specific audiences and high value interests are more competitive.
- How your ad performs. When more people choose to watch your ad, your budget goes further. Your thumbnail, title and how well your targeting matches your video all feed into this.
- When you run. Holidays and big events bring more advertisers into the auction.
The estimate updates as you change your budget and targeting, so you can see the effect before you pay.
How to judge your campaign against it
Open the campaign menu and choose Engagement Report. Compare Ad Views and Spent with the estimate you were shown. Give the campaign at least a day or two before you judge it, because the first hours are usually the slowest while it learns which audiences respond.
Money you have not spent is always yours. Money already spent on delivered ad views is not usually returned.
What to do next
If a finished campaign delivered far less than the estimate you were shown, email support@sprizzy.com with the campaign ID and we will review it. To improve the next one, read My campaign did not do as well as I expected.
