How long it takes
Sprizzy sends the refund straight away. Banks and card issuers take 3 to 7 business days to show it on your statement. PayPal is usually quicker.
If your payment was very recent
A payment that has not settled with your bank yet is cancelled rather than refunded.
A cancelled payment never becomes a real charge, so you will not see a credit. You see the original pending charge, and it disappears within a day or two. Payment History shows it as Voided.
Where the money goes
Refunds go back to the original payment method only. They cannot be sent to a different card, a different account or another person.
If that card is closed or was a prepaid card, the money is still sent to it. Your bank or card issuer decides what happens next, so contact them with the refund date and amount.
If you paid in another currency
Refunds are sent in US dollars. Your bank converts them at the rate on the day, so the amount on your statement can differ slightly from the amount you originally paid.
Still nothing after 7 business days
Email support@sprizzy.com with the payment date, the amount and the last four digits of the card. A person will trace it with our payment processor and can give you a reference number for your bank.
Do not request a second refund for the same payment. It will not speed anything up and it can hold things up further.
What to do next
Check Payment History first. It shows whether the payment is marked Refunded or Voided and the date it happened.
