Why are my views and watch time not updating?

Why there is a delay

YouTube checks views before it adds them to your public view count. When a campaign sends a lot of viewers at once, that check takes longer. Public views, unique viewers and watch time can be 48 to 72 hours behind.

This is YouTube’s process for all traffic, not something Sprizzy controls.

The two reports update on different clocks

  • Your Engagement Report is imported from Google Ads and updates through the day.
  • YouTube Studio updates on YouTube’s own schedule and includes everything on your channel.

So the same day can show different numbers in each place for a day or two. That is normal.

Subscriber and like counts

Campaign subscribers and campaign likes come from Google Ads through your linked channel, and usually appear within about two days.

If they stay at zero, one channel setting is almost always the cause. See My campaign shows zero subscribers.

What to do

  • Wait 72 hours before comparing numbers.
  • Check the same date range in both places.
  • Set YouTube Studio to “Since published” so nothing is cut off by the date filter.

What to do next

If your numbers have not moved after 72 hours, email support@sprizzy.com with the campaign ID and a screenshot of your YouTube Studio analytics.
