What can I promote with Sprizzy?

One video per campaign

Each campaign promotes one video. That is how Google Ads reviews and targets it. If you want to promote several videos, create a campaign for each one. They can run at the same time.

You cannot promote a whole channel or a playlist as a single campaign. If you want every new upload promoted automatically, use Auto-Promote, which creates one campaign per new video.

YouTube Shorts

Yes, you can promote a Short. Set it up exactly like any other video. Shorts are one of the ad types you can turn on or off in the campaign builder under Select Your Ad Types.

Live streams

A live stream cannot be promoted while it is live. Google Ads has to review the content before it runs as an ad, and it cannot review something that has not happened yet.

Once the stream has ended and the recording is on your channel as a normal video, you can promote it like any other video.

Video visibility

The video must be Public or Unlisted on YouTube. Private and scheduled videos cannot run as ads and will not appear when you pick a video.

Videos on a channel you do not own

You can only promote a video whose owner allows it. Many channels in the YouTube Partner Program restrict which Google Ads accounts may use their videos, which blocks the campaign from starting.

If it is not your channel, ask the owner to link the channel to Sprizzy or to turn that restriction off. If you own the rights to the video, uploading it to your own channel is the simplest route.

What Sprizzy does not do

  • No promotion of a live stream while it is live.
  • No promotion on platforms other than YouTube.
  • No video production or editing.

What to do next

Pick your video and start a campaign. If your video does not appear in the list, read I cannot find my video when setting up a campaign.
