My campaign is approved but has not started

Approved and Starting Soon

Approved (Starting Soon) means Google Ads has accepted the ad and has not served it yet. This can take up to 24 hours. Nothing is wrong and nothing is needed from you.

The most common blocker: a channel setting

Channels in the YouTube Partner Program can restrict which Google Ads accounts are allowed to use their videos as ads. If that restriction is on and Sprizzy is not linked, your campaign is approved but never delivers.

There are two ways to fix it.

Link your channel to Sprizzy. Open My Channels, find the channel and click Link Now. Full steps are in Link your channel to Google Ads.

Or turn the restriction off. In YouTube Studio go to Settings, then Channel, then Advanced settings, and turn off the setting that limits ads to linked Google Ads accounts.

Other things that stop a campaign starting

  • The video is private or scheduled. It must be Public or Unlisted.
  • You set a start date. The campaign shows the date it will begin.
  • The video belongs to a channel you do not own. Large channels, labels and news outlets normally block outside ad accounts. Ask the owner to link the channel or turn the restriction off. If you own the rights, upload the video to your own channel and promote it there.

If none of this applies

If the campaign has been approved for more than 24 hours with no spend and no disapproval, email support@sprizzy.com with the campaign ID. A person can push the campaign in Google Ads.

If it still does not run, the unspent budget is yours. You can end the campaign and take it back in full.

What to do next

Check My Channels first. If the channel shows as linked and the campaign is still not delivering after a day, contact support with the campaign ID.
